Spencer West is truly remarkable! Spencer lost his legs at the age of five and has become an inspiration to the world. Last year, he and two friends climbed Mount Kilamanjaro raising over $500 000 for water initiatives in third world countries. This year, Spencer and friends are planning a 300 km walk from Edmonton to Calgary in “We Walk for Water” where they plan to raise funds for those in Africa who walk miles everyday to reach clean water.
